Bambi is an extremely tall, leggy doe.  She contracted listeriosis during the 2020 breeding season, and rather than put any strain on her recovery, we opted to let her remain dry, thus  she was a first freshening 3 year old.  She freshened this spring with a lovely udder, but lacks the spring of rib and body capacity we usually like to see.  We're giving her one more year to see if she blossoms as a 4 year old with another freshening under her belt.  Pictured dry.
