Welcome to Ardenweald Dairy Goats (previously Heartwood Haven)! We are an ADGA registered Performance & Show herd located deep in the Redwoods along the beautiful Pacific coastline in Northern California. Our long term herd goals are to produce quality animals that do well in the milk parlor as well as the show ring. To that end, we strive to acquire some of the best genetics we can attain in our foundation stock, as well as new and old sires through the power of artificial insemination.
Heartwood Haven, owned by Shaelyn Toreson, began as a 4-H/Grange herd under the name Amber*Rose in 2018, but as she started to place more focus on growing beyond local youth livestock activities, Shaelyn decided that the Amber*Rose herdname no longer fit the vision she had in mind and wanted a new herdname that was compatible with her growing quail business, Heartwood Quailery, and so Heartwood Haven came to be.
